Tiree works in joint venture partnership with Colliers Project Leaders (formerly MHPM Project Leaders) to provide superior project management support services on significant Canadian real property projects. The Role

The Project Scheduler will support the Lead Scheduler in the development, tracking and reporting of complex construction and engineering projects schedules. Working under the direction, guidance and mentorship of a Lead Scheduler, this role is an excellent opportunity to develop further expertise in project controls.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an integrated project schedule for a series of major construction and engineering projects (MS Project);
  • Work closely with the Project Managers and project stakeholders to gather information required to build and update the project schedule;
  • Track the progress of the program and individual projects, including cost and schedule controls;
  • Inform management of project status and direction;
  • Document issues and resolutions related to the project schedules;
  • Contribute to the development and management of process and procedures used in Operations; and
  • Provide critical analysis of schedules and project activities to identify where schedule improvements can be made.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma with 7+ years of experience working in project management with a specific focus on scheduling;
  • Experience creating, monitoring and managing complex schedules for construction, architecture or engineering projects in MS Project;
  • Excellent communication skills, with a professional manner;
  • Ability to bring multiple stakeholders together for regular project discussion/strategy meetings;
  • Ability to analyze detailed schedules and make recommendations for changes/improvements; and
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a relevant federal government security clearance. Asset: existing security clearance.
