Tiree works in joint venture partnership with Colliers Project Leaders (formerly MHPM Project Leaders) to provide superior project management support services on significant Canadian real property projects. Together, we provide enterprise solutions to meet the growing capital project demands of our clients. Colliers and Tiree have over 600 project management professionals, operating across 30 offices throughout Canada.

The Opportunity

The Project Manager, Architecture & Design,  will be responsible for managing a multi-million dollar portfolio of building design and heritage projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing project scope, requirement documents, statement of work, participating in client discussions, analysis of functional and operational requirements of the client
  • Planning and coordinating the activities of project personnel, contractors or other support providers, including the preparation of preliminary time schedules for project design and implementation; and
  • Managing architectural/engineering and associated specialist teams, reviewing project costs and resolving variances with predetermined budgets by recommending action and resolving conflicts.
  • Producing draft plans and sections for incorporation into Project Plans;
  • Contributing to the organization’s strategic and business planning initiatives (e.g., identifying strategic goals and implementing initiatives to achieve them (such as through policy development, standards development and program review);
  • Preparing or managing of project documents, such as project charter or plan, client statement of work and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance
  • Diploma/degree/certificate in architecture/architectural technology, or a related discipline
  • OAA (Architecture) designation (asset)
  • 5+ years of experience working on architecture or interior design projects completing tasks similar to the above
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects of significant size and complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams
